Fasting to Lose Weight
Fasting to lose weight could be the answer to your bodyweight issues that you have been experiencing in your life. For those of you who have not given fasting a chance to help you meet your fat loss goals, you are losing out on an excellentunbelievable technique. Personally, I believe fasting is better than pills, fad diets, or any other weight loss plan you can try today. Your one concern you will find with fasting is that you will have more money than you are used to having! You do not have to stock up diet pills, diet food, or any other “tool” in order to employ this method. All you get are incredible results.
By keeping your diet exactly the same as it is now and then eat nothing for one full day two times every week, you will drop a lot of weight. Currently I am age 41, and I have exercised regularly since I was a teenager. I have always had muscles and great cardiovascular health; however, I had about ten extra pounds on my frame that needed to go away so my muscles would be defined.
Early on, I found it hard to get bigger muscles, and as such, losing weight was never my focus. But as I aged, I began to put on a few pounds around the middle. My physique was adequate, but I wanted it to be better. After I made the decision to lose the weight around my middle, it was much harder than I thought it would be. I attempted to eat fewer calories and only good foods, but I could only do it for a little while. I eventually lost my will power and began eating as I usually did.
As an adult, I continued the cycle of eating well to drop a few pounds, and then regaining it back after temptation overcame me. I was able to keep myself fairly fit, but I could not get six pack abs. Then, I discovered intermittent fasting, along with the Eat-Stop-Eat method of fasting, and I was amazed beyond belief with the outcome.
I dropped the pounds at an alarming rate, and I never altered my way of eating on the days I did not fast. I have been on this plan for nearly a full year. At 41, I have been able to achieve my ideal body physique and know that this way of eating is going to be permanent for me. After I began to lose weight using this method, and fully committed myself to this way of eating, I read everything about fasting that I could find. And the greatest aspect is that I have discovered additional advantages to fasting other than losing weight. I wasn’t even aware of these when I began the plan.
For those of you who deal with weight issues, or simply want a different method of reducing the number of calories you are consuming, try this fasting technique. It is fantastic that I am not obligated to spend money on diet pills, diet foods, or diet beverages. Fewer calories make their way into my body, and with my method, I still eat every day. Since I started to use fasting to lose weight, I have made more progress than I could of ever expected!
